Often we use Lent as a time to take on or give up, but how about using this Advent season to prepare for Christ by identifying and working on a virtue? Here’s some help.
In the season of Advent, we join with Mary in preparing the manger of our hearts to receive the Christ Child. By cultivating the virtues, we seek to adopt the attitude of expectancy that Mary and the Chosen People of Israel have, as they waited in joyful hope for the coming of the Messiah. This download lists suggested virtues to practice and offers a connection to Scripture.
